Green Days new album Revolution Radio came out October 7th, 2016. As of right now, its is the biggest album on the rock scene. Green Day lovers ( myself being one) have been waiting a very long time for a new album. It was well worth the wait. Every Green Day album has a theme to it. This albums theme is media. Talking about rebuilding society and how much it has broken us. Also being able to deal with everything and yourself. If you go back to earlier albums, they had a particular sound to them. after time they started to stray away from that like most bands tend to do. With "Revolution Radio" the "Green Day sound" has returned. Revolution Radio: The song revolution radio which the album is named after, is one of the more up beat songs on the album. One of the best on the album in my opinion. It's about how everything from the 60's is coming back problem wise. Society still doesn't treat people right. Something is breaking the world. Troubled Times: Track #10 on the album ( again one of my favorites), is about america crashing down, destroying itself. Again, people aren't treating each other equally; and it doesn't look like it's going to get better anytime soon. Forever Now: Track #11. This is the longest song on the album, nearly 7 minutes. It's going against the status quo. The " i'm not going to do what everyone else is doing" track of the album. Revolution Radio is by far one of my favorite albums. It was worth the wait, now i almost always have it playing. Go check it out.
